Your Opportunity
As an InP Epitaxy Engineer, you’ll play an important role in growing and optimizing InP-based epitaxial layers for advanced photonic devices. You will work with specialized epitaxy equipment, support process development, and collaborate closely with device, process, and design teams to translate technical requirements into high-quality epitaxial structures.

What You’ll Do
You will be involved in activities such as:
- Epitaxial Growth: Growing high-quality InP-based epitaxial layers using techniques such as MOVPE/MOCVD.
- Process Development: Developing, optimizing, and monitoring epitaxial growth processes for photonic devices.
- Wafer Characterization: Performing characterization of epitaxial wafers using techniques such as XRD, PL, EL, and microscopy.
- Material Analysis: Analyzing material quality, layer uniformity, and defect density to improve device performance.
- Equipment Maintenance: Maintaining and calibrating epitaxy equipment to ensure process stability.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Working closely with device, process, and design teams to translate requirements into epitaxial structures.
- Yield Improvement: Supporting root-cause analysis, yield improvement, and continuous process optimization.
- Documentation: Documenting epitaxy recipes, process results, and best practices.
What You’ll Bring
We’re looking for someone with:
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Materials Science, Physics, Electrical Engineering, Semiconductor Technology, or a related field.
- Junior to mid-level experience in semiconductor epitaxy, crystal growth, or a related technical field.
- Understanding of III-V semiconductor materials, especially InP-based systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and a quality-driven approach.
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary and collaborative environment.
- Fluency in English.
Experience That Is a Plus
Additional experience in the following areas would be beneficial:
- Hands-on experience with MOVPE/MOCVD epitaxial growth systems.
- Familiarity with InP-based photonic devices such as lasers, modulators, or detectors.
- Experience with material characterization techniques such as XRD, SEM, AFM, or PL.
- Knowledge of semiconductor process integration and photonic device physics.
- Experience in a cleanroom or semiconductor manufacturing environment.
