Your Opportunity
As a Photonic Process Engineer, you’ll play an important role in the cleanroom fabrication of advanced photonic chips. You will work hands-on with semiconductor and photonic processing steps, support process development, and collaborate with R&D engineers and project teams to help bring new photonic designs into production.

What You’ll Do
You will be involved in activities such as:
- Cleanroom Fabrication: Fabricating photonic chips in a cleanroom environment.
- Semiconductor and Photonic Processing: Executing and optimizing semiconductor and photonic processing steps.
- Equipment Operation: Operating, monitoring, and maintaining cleanroom equipment.
- Process Development: Supporting process development, characterization, and yield improvement activities.
- Documentation: Documenting fabrication procedures, process results, and technical observations.
- Collaboration: Working closely with R&D engineers and project teams to bring new photonic designs into production.
- Continuous Improvement: Contributing to the improvement of fabrication workflows, process reliability, and quality standards.
What You’ll Bring
We’re looking for someone with:
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physics, Photonics, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Microelectronics, or a related field.
- Junior to mid-level experience in semiconductor, photonics, MEMS, microfabrication, or a related technical environment.
- A strong interest in hands-on laboratory and cleanroom work.
- Strong attention to detail and a quality-focused mindset.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
- Fluency in English.
Experience That Is a Plus
Additional experience in the following areas would be beneficial:
- Cleanroom processes such as lithography, etching, deposition, wafer processing, or inspection.
- Photonic integrated circuits, optical devices, or semiconductor manufacturing.
- Process characterization and data analysis.
