The Challenge

Objective
The goal of the AMBER-OPZUID project is to develop an advanced ammonia mitigation system that leverages cutting-edge technologies to reduce nitrogen emissions. The project aims to safeguard the environment, enhance animal welfare, and provide practical solutions for the agricultural sector.

Advanced Sensor Technology
VTEC Lasers & Sensors is spearheading the development of photonic chip-based sensors for real-time ammonia monitoring. These sensors enable precise and cost-effective detection, ensuring stable ammonia levels while optimizing air purification processes.

Innovative Photocatalytic Foil
Spectrik introduces groundbreaking photocatalytic foil technology activated by light. This innovation actively extracts ammonia from the air, presenting a promising and sustainable approach to addressing nitrogen emissions.

Nitrogen Mitigation System Development
Innoflex leads the creation of a nitrogen mitigation system utilizing photocatalytic materials. This low-energy, chemical-free system effectively decomposes ammonia into harmless gases, ensuring minimal maintenance and maximum efficiency for agricultural applications.
Funding Recognition
